All campers and visitors must review Kerr’s Campground General Rules. As they are updated yearly. Kerr’s Campground is a privately owned campground. These rules are written so everyone will have an enjoyable and safe stay at our campground.
General Rules:

For Everyone To Enjoy A Clean And Safe Camping Experience, NO LITTERING, Including Cigarette Butts Is Allowed. Garbage And Recycle Waste Bins Are Provided. DO NOT Bring Waste From Home.

Seasonal Contracts & General Liability Waivers Are To Be Signed Before Camping Season Begins.

Security Gate Cards Are To Be Used By The Registered Camper And Their Registered Vehicles Only. The Security Gate Cards Are NOT To Be Loaned Or Used To Allow Additional Vehicles Into The Campground, Including Other Registered Guests.

Parking Is Restricted To 2 Vehicles Per Lot, Additional Parking Is Available At The Designated Parking Area At The Rec Hall.

Be A Respectful Neighbour – Voices/Music Should Be Kept To A Minimum, Especially At The Designated QUIET TIME Of 11PM. No Loudspeakers. Music And Conversations/Speaking Should Be Kept At A Low Reasonable, Respectful Level. All Loud Vehicles Must Be Parked And Shut Off During These Times.

Pets – Must Be On A Leash At All Times, With The Exception Of The Doggy Park. Always Clean Up After Your Pet. If Your Pet Becomes A Concern (Excessive Barking, Aggression, Not Supervised), You May Be Asked To Remove The Pet From The Premises. A Doggy Park Is Provided For Your Dog’s Pleasure, With Your Supervision.

Cancellation Of Seasonal Contract – Refunds Will Be At The Discretion Of Kerr’s Campground Management.

Fires Must Be Contained In An Above Ground Fire Grate Or Pit That Is Designed To Burn Wood Safely. They Must Remain In Safe Locations. The Fire Must Be Supervised At All Times And Extinguished Prior To You Leaving Your Site Or Retiring In Your Trailer. NO FIRES ON DECKS OR CLOSE TO DECK. No Burning Of Pressure Treated Or Painted Wood Is Allowed. No Burning Of Garbage.

Visitors – Must Be Parked At The Rec Hall And Must Vacate The Property By 10:00PM. Owners Of Rented Sites Are Responsible For Their Visitors And To Inform Them Of All The Rules And Regulations, Including The Speed Limit Set At 10KM/Hour.

Bicycles Are Only Permitted To Be Ridden On The Roadways Within The Campground. Bicycles Must Be Ridden Slowly And Bike Riders Must Exercise Care And Control At All Times. Bike Riding Is Not Permitted After Dusk. If Under The Age Of 18, You Are Required By Law To Wear An Approved Bicycle Helmet When Travelling On Any Public Road.

Drugs/Alcohol – Provincial Law Requires That Personal Alcoholic Beverages Be Consumed On Campsites Only.

Illegal Use Of Drugs Of Any Type Will Result In The Immediate Termination Of Park Use And/Or Police Intervention.

Fireworks – Strictly Prohibited For Occupants Or Their Guest, Unless You Have Written Approval From Campground Management.

Firearms – Absolutely NO Hunting By Any Campground Occupant, Their Family, Visitors, Guests Of Invitees On Campground Property. Firearm Use Is Restricted To Management ONLY.
Insurance/Liability:

Proof Of Insurance For Trailer And Golf Carts Must Be Submitted To The Campground Every Year. **When and what kind of insurance?

Kerrs Campground Management Will Not Be Responsible For Accidents, Injuries, Or Loss Of Property By Fire, Theft, Wind, Floods Or Other Natural Acts Which Are Beyond Its Control. It Is The Responsibility Of The Occupant To Provide Current Property Insurance As Well As Liability Insurance. **Is this different insurance than the first section? Do you need both? Maybe say to “carry property and liability insurance for the trailer and golf carts and provide proof of such to kerrs campground no later than *”

Equipment And Any Apparatus Provided On The Kerrs Campground Are Solely For The Convenience And Enjoyment Of Campers Who Do So At Their Own Risk.
Sites/Trailers:

Your Site Must Be Kept Clean And Safe.

Grass Must Be Cut On A Regular Basis.

Any Upgrades/Improvements Must Be Pre-Approved By Kerr’s Campground Management. (Examples: Decks, Sheds, Extra Refrigerators, Etc.)

No Digging Or Planting Trees Or Stakes.

Outside Lighting Is Recommended To Be LED Or Solar.

One Camping Unit Per Site. A Small Tent Is Permissible For Childern/Registered Campers To Your Site.

Sites Must Be Returned To Their Original Condition When Vacated/End Of Rental Term.

The Registered Camper Shall Not Sell, Transfer Lease, Sublet Or Assign The Campsite Or The Trailer On The Campsite And/Or Their Right To Occupy Without The Permission Of Kerrs Campground Management.

No Watering Lawns, No Use Of Sprinklers, Unless Given Approval. No Pressure Washing Decks Or Trailers (Unless Given Approval).
Garbage Disposal
- Garbage Bins are for the Campground Household Garbage ONLY. Do not dispose of Electronics, Appliances, Furniture, propane tanks, etc., In the Garbage and Recycling Bins. Disposal of Large Articles of garbage, such as Fridges, bicycles, bed, etc., are your responsibility and expense. Also, They are not to be left near the garbage bins.
Sewage Waste
- VERY IMPORTANT – The Spectic system may only be used for human waste, toilet paper, and typical wash water. Women’s feminine products, diapers, food and other trash must be disposed of in the garbage Bins Provided.
- only approved products may be added to septic holding tank. chemicals that destroy the active enzymes and bacteria in the septic system are prohibited. (eg. bleach, anti-bacterial products, many toxic cleaners).
Guest/Children/teenagers
- Campers are Responsible at all times for the supervision, conduct and Behaviour of any guest, Children and Family Members on campsite, as well as on all campground property. all rules and conditions of the campground are applicable to both occupants and their guest and/or Children/Family Members.
- Children using any of the recreational Facilities (rec Hall) must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
- Minors – PARENTS/GUARDIANS are responsible for the Supervision of their Children at all times.
Pond
- Swimming Alone is Not Permitted.
- All Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult who can swim, if needed.
- no fishing at the beach/swim area. (only the designated areas)
- no pets in any of the ponds/water areas or beaches.
- all belongings must be cleaned up after usage of the pond and or beach, including any floatation devices or canoes/paddle boats/kayaks.
Golf Carts

- Speed Limit – 10KM
- must stay on the provided roads. ** Campground roads?
- electric or (4 strock) gas only.
- must always be SEATED.
- must be 16 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license to drive. golf carts can be driven from 9am to 11pm.
- NO KIDS Should be sitting on the drivers LAP at any time.
- Please limit golf cart usage to and from only. **To and from?? Within the campground?
- all golf carts must have proof of liability insurance.
- all golf carts must be approved before driving on campground grounds.
